Hamid Group SAL ("we", "us", "our") operates the Hamid Group SAL shopping app, the Hamid Group SAL seller app, and the website hamidgroupsal.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide: name, email address, phone number and password.
- Order and delivery information: your delivery address and the contents of your orders.
- Optional media: a profile picture and any images you send in support chat.
- Location (approximate or precise) — only if you grant permission — to help fill in and confirm your delivery address. The app works without it; you can enter your address manually.
- Device information and a push notification token (via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) to send order updates and help keep the service secure.
- Basic usage information such as in-app searches, to operate and improve the app.
We do not collect payment card details in the app. Orders are paid by Cash on Delivery; if an online payment method is offered, payment is handled by a third-party payment provider and card data is not stored by us.
2. How we use your information
To create and manage your account, process and deliver your orders, provide customer support, send order and service notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We share delivery information with our delivery and logistics partners only to fulfil your order. We use Google Firebase for push notifications and basic app services. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for orders and legal purposes. You can delete your account at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page — or email [email protected].
5. Security
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
6. Children
Our apps are intended for users aged 18 and over and are not directed to children.
